Jarod Polakoff (b. 2002, Seattle, WA) is an image-based artist currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Fascinated by the human psyche, Jarod centers his work around emotion, sensation, and the subconscious, situating at the crux of his photographs the vast tapestry of parallels between interior and exterior experiences.
Jarod received his BFA in Photography & Imaging with a double major in Art History from New York University. His work has been featured in various print and digital publications, including Float Magazine, ISO Magazine, Phase Zero, Spotz PIX, West 10th Magazine, Stupid Idiot Press, Pony Express, and Musee Magazine.
