Untitled Feeling (2023)

Untitled Feeling presents an attempt to create succinct photographic moments that function as surreal, non-literal distillations of very real, human experiences.

These images parse eclectic but subtle (and deceptively simple) imagery as a means to convey curiosity and uncover novelty within the most universal contexts. Bodies interact with familiar objects and the environments they occupy, exploring the banal and the peculiar with the wondrous, sensorial worldview of a child.

Tactility, catharsis, and earthly, elemental symbolism express the primal magic at the core of our existence. Quiet, introspective portraits illustrate the subjective nature of these forces: that ultimately, the external and the internal, the corporeal and the cerebral, the universe at large and the isolated individual, are inextricable, one always influencing the other.
